PLAYFORD ALIVE @ THE PRECINCT
Playford Alive @ The Precinct is a new community event for 2020, it will be held on Saturday 28 March, giving local residents the opportunity to explore the workshops, gardens and facilities at The Precinct as well as enjoying kids’ activities, a bouncy castle, children’s ride, gaming van, face painting, balloon artist, temporary tattoos for adults and kids, an acoustic musician, barbeque and more!
LEARN MOREHUMBUG SCRUB WILDLIFE SANCTUARY
Humbug Scrub Sanctuary is located about 50km north-east of Adelaide and is a huge wildlife sanctuary full of animals and wildflowers for kids to explore. It was established in 1905 and is situated in a natural bush setting. The Sanctuary is committed to the preservation of our native flora and fauna and there’s plenty of native wildlife roaming freely in the park. You’ll have the chance to feed kangaroos and emus, while also watching peacocks, Cape Barren geese, black cockatoos, swans and lots more!

Playford Alive Town Park is the centrepiece of one of Adelaide’s largest urban and community renewal programs and includes some of the nation’s most socio-economically disadvantaged and culturally diverse groups within its community. The park itself, designed by a team led by ASPECT Studios for Renewal SA, is a unique multifunctional space focused on creating a diverse range of passive and active recreation opportunities that encourages healthy living and social inclusion.
LEARN MORENATIONAL MILITARY VEHICLE MUSEUM
The Society is one of many Military Vehicle Clubs across Australia and throughout the world and its members are dedicated to the preservation of vehicles that are of military origin. The museum was developed as a way of providing undercover storage for the vehicles and at the same time allowing the public to view them. Opened in August 1993 at the old Messenger Press building at Port Adelaide and now relocated to a group of historic WW2 era buildings within the Defence precinct of Edinburgh Parks this museum is unique number of ways. The majority of the vehicles are privately owned by the Society members and therefore each member is responsible for their own vehicles.

Horse trail riding in the Adelaide Hills. Views of Mt Lofty Ranges to the Barossa Valley. Highly trained horses and staff. Suitable for beginners to advanced riders. Rides are guided and tailored to the riders. Heaps to do including swimming in the dam, creek crossing, jumps, up and down hills. Experienced / brave riders can have a trot and canter. Inexperienced / beginner / nervous riders can stroll around
